Borges Agricultural and Industrial Edible Oils (BAIEO) is a Group dedicated to the agriculture, processing and B2B trade of olive and seed oils. It is part of Borges International Group, a Spanish multinational founded in 1896 with a turnover of more than 689 million euros in 116 countries around the world.
In order to increase its efficiency, competitiveness and sustainability, the company contracts the services of INGESER to carry out the construction project of the new seed oil extraction plant and the facilities associated with the activity, to which they have been allocated 10 million euros.
The new extractor allows to increase the productive capacity of the plant up to 30% and supposes a saving of costs. It also improves the performance of the extraction process by increasing the ratio of oil obtained in the extraction of oil from seeds, improving safety throughout the process and the quality of the workers' working conditions.
These advances have made it possible to reduce the environmental impact of its activities through the reduction of VOC emissions (volatile organic compounds), as well as the consumption of steam, electricity and water, resources necessary for oil extraction, contributing to the sustainability of Your activities.
The work and legalization of the facilities has been carried out in the period from February 2017 to July 2019, concluding successfully and satisfying the investment and the expected deadlines.
