After the November 2014 fire, which destroyed the largest CAMPOFRÍO FOOD GROUP plant in Burgos, INGESER took on the challenge of building a new and modern meat products factory with 5 buildings within 2 years.
It is a project designed, defined and executed almost in parallel. Dominated by the use of the most cutting-edge technology, to offer the market better products, and reinforce the positioning in all channels, with a broader and more competitive offer, making Campofrío, and this plant in particular, the benchmark in the industry at the European level.
Finally, between the first stone event (September 16, 2015) and the visit of His Majesty Felipe VI for its inauguration (November 23, 2016), 435 days passed.
