Carburo del Cinca is a leading supplier in Europe of calcium carbide mainly used in the production of acetylene gas for welding and cutting, in sulphur desulphurisation for the steel casting industries and in the production of various chemical specialities.

That is why it has carried out important investments to improve its facilities, among them the one made by INGESER in Monzón. It consisted of the construction of a single industry for the manufacture of desulphurisation in Spain from calcium carbide, reaching a constructed area of 11,714.82 m².
