J. García Carrión is a multinational business group founded by José García-Carrión in 1890. He owns 19 brands of wines, some of them with Denomination of Origin, and juices, being one of them Don Simón. Its commercial activity extends to 145 countries of the 5 continents.
In 2017, DAFSA became a J. García Carrión plant with a very ambitious project: to make strategic investments to implement a modern technology to the traditional processes of winemaking and packaging of juices.
This project of the juice and wine production and packaging plant was carried out by INGESER. It also combines the three fundamental pillars of this family business: respect for origin and raw materials, development in R&D and industry, that is, automation and efficiency of processes. All this has allowed it to reduce its operational and logistical costs, combine innovation and product quality, and be the leaders in value and volume in juices, gazpachos, smoothies and horchatas; which explains the undisputed success this company keeps intact after 40 years.
Currently, the Segorbe plant in Castellón has 9 heat treatment lines and 15 automated packaging lines. In addition, it has a pioneering plan worldwide: coordinate the entire production process, with full traceability and maximum safety.
