L'Oréal is a french cosmetics and beauty company, created in 1909 by chemist Eugène Schueller. It is the largest cosmetics company in the world, and has a headquarters in Paris. It is also present in 150 countries and has six research and development centres around the world (France, the United States, Japan, China and India).
It develops its activity in the field of cosmetics, focusing on hair color, skin care, sun protection, makeup, perfumes, hair care and care for men. It is also a pioneer in dermatology, toxicology, tissue engineering, and biopharmaceutical research.
INGESER carried out different actions in the facilities that L´Oréal has in Spain. One of them, in the only headquarters of our country located in Madrid. And the other, in the city of Burgos, where one of the main factories that this company owns worldwide is located and where 504 people work exporting their production to 52 countries. Since 2015, it is a CO2-free and energy-self-sufficient factory. Also, since 2017 it is a dry factory that only uses water as raw material and for human consumption.
